About Hiyu:
Hiyu is a 30 acre farm, winery and restaurant in the Hood River Valley. Guided by nature and inspired by ideas from biodynamics and permaculture we tend vines, raise animals, garden, cook and make wine to reveal an experience of place.
Hiyu is looking for a full time seasonal chef. This is a seasonal position through the end of October 2026. We are looking for someone that can work 40-50 hours Wednesday-Sunday. We're looking for someone with at least three years of relevant restaurant experience.

This is an hourly, plus tips, full-time position. Weekend availability is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting Chef in executing weekly menus
- Food preparation for the day / week
- Perform various butchery / charcuterie projects as needed
- Station management / be responsible for station during service
- Cleaning / organization of BOH / warewashing
- Garden / greenhouse related tasks
- Animal chores / assistance with husbandry as needed
Three years of prior restaurant experience is required
Pay: $21.00 per hour
