We are currently seeking a Design Automation Engineer to join our fast paced, diverse, and safety centric team. In this role you will be responsible for using Driveworks to automate the configurations of all Hiwin products and in all Hiwin business Systems.

We are currently seeking a Design Automation Engineer to join our fast paced, diverse, and safety centric team. In this role you will be responsible for using Driveworks to automate the configurations of all Hiwin products and in all Hiwin business Systems.
A typical day as a Design Automation Engineer can include:
- Working with the rest of the Hiwin Engineering team and with external consultants to implement the plan for automating design configurations for all Hiwin products;
- Developing product configurators using Driveworks and following the standard user interface;
- Testing, debugging and trouble shooting all product configurations before release;
- Collaborating with other department and external consultants on integration of the configurator with other business systems, i.e. ERP, CRM and e- commerce;
- Creating documentation of programming guides, data transfer maps for use of other developers and Hiwin team members;
- Keeping up to date and recommending software updates, enhancements, and features.
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- A strong knowledge of Solid works for Mechanical Engineering and design;
- Have experience and understanding of product configurators;
- Have a strong desire for organization, process optimization, and efficiency;
- Have experience with creating models with tight tolerances;
- Be experienced with SQL databases, Excel macro programming, and coding in Python, C# or VB;
- Be a self-starter with ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and properly prioritize activities;
- Be capable of solving complex problems and sharing knowledge.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
