Position Summary
The Production Line Associate is responsible for supporting the daily bottling and packaging operations of the honey production line. This position ensures products are filled, capped, labeled, packed, and palletized accurately while maintaining food safety, quality standards, and production efficiency. The Production Line Associate works closely with supervisors and fellow team members to achieve daily production goals and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations
- Operate assigned equipment and workstations on the production line.
- Load bottles, caps, labels, and packaging materials as required.
- Monitor product flow and identify production issues or abnormalities.
- Assist with honey top-off and material replenishment during production.
- Perform hand packing and case packing of finished products.
- Palletize finished cases and prepare pallets for warehouse transfer.
- Participate in product changeovers and line setup activities.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect bottles, caps, labels, and finished products for defects.
- Verify proper cap printing, label placement, and package appearance.
- Remove defective or damaged products from the line.
- Assist with rework activities when necessary.
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
Sanitation and Food Safety
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Participate in daily cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Comply with HACCP and all applicable food safety regulations.
- Properly dispose of waste and damaged materials.
Safety
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or accidents immediately.
- Work safely around conveyors, forklifts, and production machinery.
Teamwork and Communication
- Work effectively with supervisors and coworkers to meet production goals.
- Maintain a positive attitude and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Communicate equipment or quality concerns promptly.
- Assist in training new employees when requested.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
