Production Planner

Hithium Tech USA has a new manufacturing facility in the Mesquite/Forney area, and we are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Production Planner to join our team. This is a specialized position, and our ideal applicant has considerable experience with tactical execution and daily optimization of the schedule by maintaining schedule adherence within a manufacturing environment. Job Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime. This role focuses on short- to mid-term planning, aligning production capacity with customer demand, and supporting operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed short term production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.

• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure schedule feasibility.

• Monitor daily production progress and report schedule impact to the schedule, while escalating and potentially resolving bottlenecks or delays.

• Analyze capacity constraints and recommend solutions to optimize throughput.

• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to stakeholders.

• Track and report KPIs related to schedule adherence and efficiency.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and tools.

• Coordinate with pertinent teams to analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine schedules that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.

• Improve forecasting tools and procedures through application of innovative ideas and projects.

• Assess impact to materials availability and production schedule that may affect demand for product over and above the plan.

• Other duties as assigned to support production efficiency and workflow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.

• 4 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
