Product / Process Engineer I

** This is an onsite role at our Milford, New Hampshire location**

As an Engineer I, you’ll play a key role in transforming customer requirements and raw materials into high‑performance investment‑cast components. This role offers two complementary development tracks Process Engineering and Product Engineering allowing you to build depth in manufacturing optimization, product performance, or both. You’ll work hands‑on in a fast‑paced production environment, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute directly to how complex parts are designed, manufactured, and improved.

What You’ll Do..

Process Engineering Track

• Increase process capability and stability by developing, refining, and maintaining manufacturing methods across wax, shell, casting, and post‑cast operations.
• Improve operational efficiency by evaluating workflows, tooling, and workstation design to simplify processes and reduce waste.
• Drive data‑informed improvements by analyzing process metrics, identifying root causes, and supporting corrective actions.
• Enhance production performance by contributing to LEAN initiatives that improve yield, reduce scrap, and streamline operations.
• Support engineering changes by coordinating with Quality to evaluate requirements and implement updates effectively.
• Build technical leadership by guiding junior team members and sharing process knowledge.

Product Engineering Track

• Translate customer requirements into production‑ready solutions by supporting tooling design, process development, and manufacturability assessments.
• Improve product consistency and quality through structured data analysis and targeted corrective actions.
• Strengthen customer relationships by participating in technical reviews, supporting drawing/model interpretation, and recommending design or process adjustments.
• Support operational excellence by evaluating production methods, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to LEAN‑based initiatives.
• Enable efficient product introduction by coordinating documentation, qualification steps, and cross‑functional project activities.
• Develop technical depth by expanding your understanding of materials, casting processes, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Who You Are…

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, product engineering, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of materials, heat transfer, solidification, and manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply engineering fundamentals to real production challenges.
• Experience analyzing production or product data to support decisions and improvements.
• Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills, with comfort working across teams and with customers.
• Proficiency with MS Office, engineering software, modeling tools, and basic statistical analysis.
