Prime Responsibilities And Major Factors In Evaluating Performance
- Work in collaboration with site leadership to identify and improve those areas most important to the site and Hitchiner.
- Assists in the development of new processes and trains team members.
- Assists in the development of improvement strategies, deploys, and manages improvement strategies.
- Coordinate, lead and execute improvement projects and initiatives to achieve business needs and objectives.
- Performing other related tasks in the facility, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience utilizing strong analytical skills including statistical methods, financial analysis, or engineering modeling and analysis.
- At least 3 years' experience using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles and practices ideally in the Aerospace, Automotive, High Volume Manufacturing Processes.
- Experience in successful deployment of Lean and Six Sigma, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen facilitation, Cellular Flow, Single-Minute Exchange of
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Significant computer related skills (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, etc.)
- Ability to engage others in facilitate consensus, obtain buy-in of senior leadership and drive for successful adoption of change initiatives.
- A track record of continuous improvement efforts with proven successful sustained outcomes
