Trailer Service & Yard TechnicianHitched Up Trailers – Valley, NE
Hitched Up Trailers is growing and looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to help with trailer service, yard organization, trailer unloading, and general operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who likes working outdoors, learning mechanical skills, operating equipment, and being part of a fast-growing business. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
What You’ll Do:
- Repair trailers and perform maintenance
- Install trailer parts and accessories
- Help unload and stack trailers safely
- Move trailers around the yard
- Keep the lot clean and organized
- Assist with rental trailer check-in/check-out
- Perform basic wiring, brake, tire, and lighting repairs
- Help prepare trailers for customer delivery
- Support the sales and service team as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to work outdoors in all seasons
- Dependable and on time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Forklift or skid loader experience is a plus
- Welding experience is a bonus but not required
- Valid driver’s license required
