How you'll make an impact 1. You will assist in the preliminary design and analysis of HVDC system components, including converters, filters, and control systems. 2. You will conduct simulations and modeling of HVDC system performance using industry-standard software (e.g., PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink), participate in the review of technical specifications and design documentation. 3. You will support data collection, analysis, and reporting related to HVDC system projects, collaborate with experienced engineers on various design challenges and solutions. 4. You will contribute to the preparation of technical presentations and internal reports, research emerging HVDC technologies and best practices. 5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. 6. Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field. 2. Familiarity with HVDC concepts and principles is highly desirable, proficiency in simulation software such as PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools. 4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrated eagerness to learn and contribute to complex technical projects. 5.
