How you’ll make an impact: You will lead and manage the full project lifecycle for assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure, adhering to Hitachi's project management methodologies and best practices. You will define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and successful criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals, develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, risk assessments, and communication strategies. You will proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary, manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial objectives are met. You will lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional project teams, foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, communicate project status, progress, and challenges regularly to all stakeholders, including senior management, through various reporting mechanisms. You will facilitate effective decision-making processes and resolve conflicts among project team members and stakeholders, manage vendor relationships and external resources as required, ensuring their deliverables meet project requirements. Your background: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Master's degree preferred. More than 5years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Experience working in a global organization and collaborating with diverse teams across different time zones is highly desirable. PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is required. Strong understanding of various project management methodologies demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Good understanding of delivering substation and transformers projects, contracts and change management in substation delivery projects. Hands-on technical knowledge of power transformers, including design, testing, and commissioning, is highly regarded given the nature of the role and the technical complexity of the products we deliver. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage ambiguity effectively. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
