Accountabilities
We are looking for a Senior Product Compliance Engineer who will:
- Prepare the dossiers related to fire smoke regulations NFPA 130
- Lead a small team of local junior Product Compliance Engineers
- Be in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in electrical/electronic equipment and lifecycle assessment
- Prepare dossiers relating to the regulation for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items (EU and US Regulations)
- Develop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions
Required Skills/Knowledge
- At least 5 years of experience in a product compliance related role
- Previous experience working as a team lead. Must have the ability to lead local junior Product Compliance Engineers.
- Knowledge of NFPA 130 - Standard for fire protection for Rolling Stock
- Good knowledge about Life Cycle Assessment Methodologies
- Experience with and an understanding of information related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components
- Able to work autonomously and be proactive in the management of tasks
- Willing to work in an international team and environment
- Excellent communication skills
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background
Languages
English proficiency. Knowledge of a foreign language is welcome
