How you’ll make an impact
- Maintain and repair high‑voltage substation equipment
- Perform independent high‑voltage switching and grounding
- Conduct electrical testing to NETA standards
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
- Operate and support digital control and power transfer systems
- Interpret one‑line diagrams, schematics, and wiring drawings
- Support commissioning, maintenance, and outage activities
- Champion safety and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and site rules
Your background
- 10 years of hands‑on substation maintenance experience
- NETA Level II or NICET Level II certification
- NFPA 70E qualification
- Proven experience with arc‑flash PPE, testing equipment, and grounding plans
- Comfort working full time on site, with occasional weekend work
- Technical training, trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
