How You'll Make An Impact
- Plan and schedule customer orders to align with delivery dates and production schedules.
- Control production schedules and coordinate material requirements for a smooth flow of approved materials.
- Support local Operations Planners, Master Schedule Planner, and Material Planner.
- Implement planning technology solutions locally.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and business requirements, promoting customer satisfaction.
- Develop long-term continuous improvement programs with customers, vendors, and transportation groups.
- Evaluate and recommend advanced technologies to achieve operating efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical assistance to less experienced staff.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, with 2-5 years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree in a business or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Must have work authorization to permanently work for Hitachi Energy in the US.
- Prior experience in planning and scheduling is preferred.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Prefer SAP experience.
- Strong coordinating skills to manage multiple logistics responsibilities.
