How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead the strategic planning cycle for the Service Business, coordinating with key stakeholders to align with long-term objectives
- Develop and implement growth and efficiency plans that respond to market trends and customer needs
- Monitor competitor and market movements to identify opportunities and threats
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management to align business strategy with evolving market demands
- Optimize digital customer journeys and drive portfolio innovation through engagement with start-ups and new technologies
- Identify and evaluate mergers and acquisitions to expand capabilities and market footprint
- Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and business analytics to support decision-making
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
- Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 10 years of senior leadership experience in a service team environment
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, innovation management, and M&A within a complex or matrixed organization
- Experience in the energy sector or with an OEM focused on service provision or installed base management
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead change and manage teams in dynamic environments
