Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead the full lifecycle of material nonconformity management across manufacturing sites.
- Coordinate containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
- Track and analyze supplier-related quality trends to identify risks and improvements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for supplier-related quality issues across factories.
- Ensure suppliers meet Hitachi Energy standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Support supplier audits and verify closure of quality-related findings.
- Monitor supplier delivery and quality KPIs, including cost and performance metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and disruptions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years in quality control, manufacturing, supplier development, or operations.
- Experience with RCA, 8D, and quality methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across global, cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of high-voltage products or process control (preferred).
- Certifications such as L6S Green Belt or ISO‑9001 Auditor (preferred).
