The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy and become a key player in bridging IT and OT environments at our factory sites. In this role, you'll provide hands-on support for both office IT and shop floor IT/OT assets, ensuring seamless operations and robust cybersecurity. You'll be the first responder for IT/OT security incidents, helping safeguard critical systems and maintain compliance with global standards. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Deliver onsite IT support for factory and office systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot IT/OT assets, including kiosks, printers, and security systems.
- Act as first responder for IT/OT cybersecurity incidents.
- Apply security patches and remediation measures on critical assets.
- Monitor OT systems and report abnormal behavior.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure proper configuration and maintenance.
- Implement security measures under global cybersecurity guidance.
- Support collaboration tools and meeting spaces for seamless connectivity.
Your Background
- Formal IT qualification or completed IT apprenticeship.
- Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, MS Office 365, Windows, iOS, and asset management tools.
- ITIL 4 knowledge and Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
