As our Engineering Team Leader, you'll oversee the design and development of single-phase and three-phase pad-mounted distribution transformers-products that power communities and industries across the country. You'll guide a team of 30 engineers and designers, drive innovation, and collaborate directly with customers to deliver high-quality, customized solutions. - Lead and inspire a diverse team of electrical and mechanical engineers and designers.
- Oversee design activities for quoting and production of pad-mounted and Unit SUB transformers.
- Manage budgets and deliver on cost-reduction and product development goals.
- Ensure timely delivery of designs and drawings aligned with customer specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and engineering processes.
- Support manufacturing operations with engineering expertise.
- Engage directly with customers to resolve design issues and enhance product performance.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of engineering experience, including team leadership.
- Proven track record in project management and process optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Preferred: Experience in transformer design or power industry engineering.
