Position Overview:
The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through rigorous inspection and testing. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction by identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
- Conduct visual and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to quality specifications.
- Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions.
- Identify and document non-conformances and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, testing data, and quality documentation.
- Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding quality concerns and findings.
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend improvements to reduce defects and waste.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in quality assurance preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment.
- Basic knowledge of ISO or similar quality management systems is a plus.
