The Historic Sonora Inn and Hotel Lumberjack are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. This role is responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and laundry items are cleaned, organized, and ready for guest use. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains a high level of cleanliness, and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report issues as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room
- Monitor inventory levels of linens and notify management when supplies are low
- Follow proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and detergents
- Assist housekeeping team with linen distribution as needed
- Ensure all work meets hotel cleanliness and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25β50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

- Ability to handle hot temperatures and humid conditions in laundry area
Pay: $16.90 per hour
