Job Summary
Historic Homes of Runnemede is seeking reliable and team-oriented Dining Services Support Staff to join our residential care community. This role supports daily dining operations, ensuring residents receive high-quality meal service in a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist with meal service in the dining room, including serving meals and beverages to residents
- Maintain a clean, organized dining and kitchen environment
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with sanitation standards
- Support cooks with basic food prep and kitchen tasks as needed
- Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
- Provide respectful, attentive service to residents and respond to needs during meal times
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation protocols.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle meal service within scheduled times.
- Experience with food handling, cooking, meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen or dining areas.
- Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities such as assisting with dietary needs and ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward residents and team members.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays or supplies as needed, and perform cleaning duties effectively.
