What are the responsibilities and job description for the General maintenance and grounds work position at Historic Banning Mills?
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Country Inn and Conference Center. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair work for guest rooms, main lodge, office spaces, and RV park facilities.
Applicants should have knowledge of:
- Plumbing
- HVAC/heat & air systems
- Electrical work
Carpentry experience is helpful. Duties may also include grounds maintenance such as mowing, weed eating, trail maintenance, and seasonal pool care. Experience operating tractors or similar equipment is a plus.
Our property operates on a septic system, so basic septic system knowledge is preferred.
Some weekends, holidays, and evening/night hours may be required for on-site emergencies.
Pay is dependent on experience. Possibility of on-site housing available.
