Armed Security Officer
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to deter illegal activities
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and take appropriate action
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities
Requirements:
- Must be able to take and pass Armed Security training
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
