The Tableau Developer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

- Good to Have:
- Knowledge of cloud technology
- Knowledge of Python scripting
- Knowledge of programming languages - html, java script.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge on Tableau desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau server
- Experience on connecting API with Tableau server
- Attention to details on design and presentable, meaningful charts as applicable
- Strong SQL skills in at least one DB - SQL server, Oracle etc.
- Bachelor's degree with total 5 years of BI experience
- Exposure on Big Data connectivity with Tableau/Qlik
- Should have experience of working in Agile projects
Responsibilities:
- Manage the deliverables. Coordinate with onshore team; prioritize technical issue resolution.
- Works closely with management to prioritize business needs and stay up to date with the goals of the organization as they evolve. Also work with other departments to find new ways to improve opportunities
- Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation, technical design, project planning and monitoring
- Understand and analyze the data to find patterns and valuable business insights
- Design, develop, test, deploy and manage Banker dashboards and analytics
- Facilitate change and innovation to legacy systems and processes
- Required to review the day to day delivery work with the team, ensuring a robust process implementation, identifying project/program delivery risks and work on risk mitigation.
