What are the responsibilities and job description for the TTS Payments Sr. Technical Analyst - Head of Payment Solutions - SVP (Hybrid) position at Hispanic Technology Executive Council?
- build a set of redesigned payments & receivables value propositions along with embedded liquidity on a new tech stack with minimal interaction with legacy processes and platforms. With rapidly evolving payment landscape, flexibility will have to be inbuilt into the proposition end to end.
- build a best in class tech stack that is scalable (5000 TPS) and always on(24*7, 99.999% up time)
- build a platform with minimal to no manual touch points with automated controls and self service capabilities
- ensure data is used as an asset. Citi will have access to unprecedented consumer flows that would give both Citi and clients unparalleled insights
- Manage teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
- Partner closely with other product and engineering leadership to set product direction
- Adapt and enhance product requirements into executable user stories that satisfy both business and technical needs.
- Be a key Agile leader that is responsible for upholding and ensuring platform standards; contributes and participates in all Agile activities and ceremonies.
- Experience creating, prioritizing and executing product backlog in conjunction with business and engineering.
- Deliver high quality technical solutions to multiple global stakeholders in a fast paced environment
- Lead discussions about requirements, payments industry trends, clearing specs, project architecture and market feasibility
- Develop strong business and technical architecture with deep emphasis 7x24 availability of solutions.
- Create an engineering excellence culture through knowledge sharing, innovation and embracing best practices through agile delivery. Ensure adherence to Technology Engineering KPIs
- Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
- Identify and communicate risks and blockers. Actively work to resolve these and drive successful deliveries.
- Demonstrates understanding of Payments and cloud
- Roll out Instant Payment capabilities like Zelle, FedNow, UPI, CashApp, etc.
- Owns and drives the program end to end to lead a successful cloud (AWS, GCP) implementation for a franchise critical payment system
- A hands on leader responsible for implementing enterprise scale solutions
- Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
- 10 years of experience building multi-tiered solutions with high availability and throughput including 5 years of management experience.
- Strong history of driving, leading Solutions Architecture and Design (especially in payments or cash management space)
- Experience managing global teams and driving progress by influence and ownership
- Experience managing and leading of teams consisting of at least 10 individuals
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience driving change via Agile, Kanban and other methodologies is preferable
- Prior knowledge of Instant Payments, Real Time Payment systems like US RTP, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, etc is highly desirable
- Experience with public (AWS) or hybrid cloud is preferable
- Experience interacting with cloud architectures leveraging Java, Kafka, Mongo is preferable
- Working knowledge of Payments industry practices and standards is desirable
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels both inside and outside the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
- Ability to estimate work effort for projects and ensure the project is successfully completed.
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Jersey City, NJ (Must report into JC at least 1-2 day/week)
