Tech Architecture Manager

Tech Architecture Manager (Accenture LLP; Raleigh, NC): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Tech Architecture Manager in Raleigh, NC, and the job duties are as follows:

• Architect design solutions for end-to-end data processing for Big Data/AWS engagements.
• Work on requirement gathering with the business, understanding risk, and provide extensive solutions to clients.
• Prepare coding standards, translate functional designs into technical specifications such as program flow diagrams, and translate technical specifications into program code.
• Review code review checklist, testing strategy, testing review checklist, deployment plan, and getting approval at different stages including Testing approval, UAT approval, Production deployment approval, and Configuration Managers approval.
• Prepare estimates for upcoming scope items and share with the client for approval.
• Prepare project plans and work on capacity planning, including forecasting hours and resources needed for the upcoming months.
• Coordinate with the offshore team on a daily basis and ensure the work is being delivered as per the project plan.
• Plan and provide instructions to the data engineering team regarding data processing and how the data should be presented to derive insights.
• Share progress made for the given month with the client and conduct review meetings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

• Developing and Implementing Big Data-Hadoop, Ab Initio, Teradata, SQL, ETL, and Data Warehousing;
• Utilizing DevOps and Agile methodology;
• Planning using Jira and Jenkins during development; and
• Developing Python scripts for automation or analysis work.

Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Driving key architectural and design decisions;
• Managing Data Engineering projects, including providing solutions for complex requirements on back-end and middle-ware, and suggesting improvements on ongoing performance issues; and
• Architecting solutions built using AWS S3 for data storage.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
