The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support in Jersey City, NJ, to maintain and support complex applications and their operating environments. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Reviewing the configuration and security settings databases and applications using Oracle/Exadata, UDB, DB2, Hadoop and MongoDB, Linux, Windows, and ZOS; Designing and developing financial applications using C , Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Cloud Technologies, Microservices, UDB/DB2 Database, Oracle/Exadata Database, MongoDB/No-SQL Database, ECS S3 Storage, NAS storage, Apache Kafka Messaging Service, IBM Message Queue Service, IBM Optim Services, Perl, JavaScript, Angular, XML, JSon, CSS, Struts, and PowerShell; Utilizing tools including AWS, 1Desk, Genie, Orbus, ServiceNow, ESP, ECS, Remedy, Eclipse, IntelliJ, GIT, Jenkins, GITLAB, SQL Developer, Squirrel SQL Client, MongoDB Compass, WinSCP, DBVisualizer , App Dynamics, Moogsoft, Prometheus, CloudProber, Drift Tool, Splunk ,Gain4, GDP, NDM and SFTP and adhering to the frameworks including Virtualization, DevOps, and CI/CD; Integrating the middleware components including IBM Messaging queue MQ, Kafka objects, storage components including Storage Area Network (SAN), Network-attached storage (NAS), and Elastic Cloud Storage (S3-Simple Storage Service) into the various microservices; Architecting, designing, developing, and supporting the necessary containers and microservices to load and process pricing, reference, and corporate event data from the various market vendors including Bloomberg, IHS Markit, IDC, DTC, SIX, Extel, WM-Daten, FED, and London Stock Exchange into Vendor Data Hub; Deploying and maintaining Securities Master Database applications on Cloud platforms using dynamic containers, and publish APIs enabling the SiteMinder authorization, OAuth2 authorization, and Kerberos authentication; and Providing support for every phase of the software development life cycle along with application maintenance and support tools including ServiceNow, ESP, NDM/SFTP(BIZLINK), ECS, SQL Developer, MongoDB Compass, App Dynamics, Moogsoft, Prometheus, CloudProber, Drift Tool, Splunk and capture all the issues with the JIRA tracking system.
