The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Senior Specialist, Business Analysis in Jersey City, NJ, to Analyze, develop, and operate complete computer systems. Consult with stakeholders to analyze, define, challenge and prioritize the business requirements, functional specifications and operational architecture for a functional work stream within a highly complex strategic, global program. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Creating standard processes for requirements creation, documentation and management and translating them into relevant functional design and use case models. Creating detailed queries to perform data analysis and reporting on large datasets including both SQL and no SQL databases. Utilizing Extract Transform Load workflows and architecture to create data requirements for large databases. Analyzing, Defining and prioritizing business requirements, functional specifications and operational architecture for global programs. Providing consultation to IT and business management on applying technology to new business opportunities and evolving regulatory landscape and planning and implementing cross-functional applications or systems. Utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies including scrum, Kanban, SAFe in creating requirements for programs and projects based on business strategic needs and requirements. Creating and executing test cases, test suites that encompass the various areas of testing for large multi-year projects. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
