You Are:

As a Data Engineer, you'll serve as a key stakeholder in maintaining our internal tools and systems that support our internal teams and clients. You will work in multiple environments, with a primary responsibility to manage internal data pipeline and data warehouse. This role requires experience using AWS and Python to extract data from various sources, transform it to fit within existing architecture and automate systems to ensure accuracy across our 20 data sources.

The Work:

• Own data pipeline to make sure that data pipeline is accurate and consistent everyday within the database
• Enhance and continually improve ETL
• Work with data analysts to troubleshoot and solve any data inaccuracies for internal and external reporting
• Consistent maintenance of API integrations (pulls, versioning etc.) using Python and AWS
• Assist director of analytics in ongoing data-related projects and AWS management.
• Manage internal websites that are used for client and budget management (updates to front end and troubleshooting backend integrations).

Here's what you need:

• A minimum of 3 years experience with:
  • Cloud Platforms: Primary - AWS.
  • Python Development for data engineering: pandas, pyarrow, boto3
  • Packages / frameworks: Airflow, Pandas

• A minimum of 3 experience in development / data engineering
• A minimum of 3 years experience in knowledge context: Digital advertising, ecommerce, API integrations, BI development

Bonus Points If:

• Exposure to marketing and ecommerce data (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify etc.)
• Exposure to app development: Shopify apps, React, Redux, MUI
• Experience with Development: Javascript, TypeScript, GraphQ
• Experience with Packages / frameworks: React, Redux, Express, Sequelize
• Experience developing QA automation and processes to validate code

Travel

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

California $63,200 to $188,600

Colorado $63,200 to $163,000

New York - Albany $58,500 to $150,900

New York City $73,100 to $188,600

Washington $67,300 to $173,500
