JOB SUMMARY
The MSAP Specialist 2 will report to MSAP Project Manager, with specific emphasis on grant data analysis to make informed decisions, including data mining, modeling, and visualization to extract meaningful insights for MSAP Grant project implementation.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
2. Conduct in-depth research, data collection, analysis, prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programs, workshops, or educational materials related to the assigned area.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED
4. Assist in the management and execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
5. Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in the assigned area of expertise.
6. Participate in the development and monitoring of key processes in Curriculum.
7. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years working in the district/central office of a large urban school district.
SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
Microsoft Office
Office equipment (e.g., computer, copier)
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice, and training to staff.
WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.
BUDGET AUTHORITY
No budget development activity is required.

Decisions are made on routine matters affecting few individuals and usually within the confines of the job's own department. Specific job activities and results are typically reviewed closely. There are limited requirements for developing new ideas or changes in methods, procedures, or services.

Follows through with customer inquiries, requests, and complaints. Forwards difficult and non-routine inquiries or requests to appropriate level for resolution.
WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Sitting: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
Visual Requirement: Able to see and read computer screens, detect color coding, ect.
Hearing Requirement: Able to detect specific noises, proper equipment operations.
