The Plant manager is responsible for overseeing all operations at the His Meat Company Marshfield facility. This role ensures production, sanitation, personnel management, and communication standards are consistently met while maintaining a strong focus on food safety, efficiency, and team accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee all daily operations at the Marshfield plant
- Ensure production runs efficiently and meets company standards
- Monitor equipment performance, including daily smokehouse operations
Smokehouse Management:
- Switch out smokehouses daily
- Verify all smokehouses are operating correctly and consistently
- Troubleshoot and address any operational issues immediately
Employee Leadership:
- Train, supervise, and discipline Marshfield employees
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and teamwork
Sanitation Oversight:
- Supervise employees on all sanitation protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to all sanitation SOPs
- Complete daily per-production walkthroughs
- Verify sanitation partners are preforming correctly
- Identify and correct any deficiencies before production starts
Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with other managers regarding inventory needs.
- Ensure all required materials and supplies are available for operations
- Report issues, concerns, or risks to upper management in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
- Production environment with exposure to cold/warm areas
- Standing, walking, and supervising on the floor for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
