Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of professional hair services such as cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and hair threading with precision and creativity.
• Perform specialized treatments including straight razor shaves to enhance client looks.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following state and local health regulations.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail opportunities to promote ongoing customer engagement.
• Sharing techniques in color theory, hair styling, and retail upselling strategies.
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, booking appointments, processing payments, and handling inquiries professionally.
• Support store management with inventory control, retail math calculations, and implementing promotional campaigns to boost sales.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of cosmetology practices including haircutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments.
• Proficiency in barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves and beard grooming.
• Experience with advanced hair extension methods and eyelash extension application.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients about their desired looks and product recommendations.
• Ability to operate salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management efficiently.
• Retail sales expertise with upselling techniques to increase product sales while enhancing client satisfaction.
• Familiarity with store management tasks including inventory control and retail math calculations.
• Skilled in makeup application for various occasions along with nail care services to provide comprehensive beauty solutions.
