THE ROLE

You'll be the editorial voice of the operation. That means writing original journalism, writing for our founder, managing the publishing calendar, running social media across all brand channels — editorial and real estate — and building a podcast extension of our content using AI tools.

This isn't a content marketing job. It's a journalism role at a media company that happens to be funded by one of Atlanta's most successful luxury real estate operations.

Beyond the core editorial work, this role also creates opportunities to contribute to content for other ventures in our portfolio. Details are shared with candidates who advance — but expect the scope to be broader and more interesting than a typical editorial position.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A journalist who can produce the bulk of the content independently — and who also knows how to recruit, brief, and edit outside contributors when the calendar demands it. You're a writer first, but you're not precious about it. You can report, edit others' work, and hold a content operation together without being managed.

You're comfortable with AI tools — not as a shortcut, but as leverage. You know your way around a WordPress or Sanity CMS. You have strong instincts for what makes a community story worth telling. You understand the importance of imagery and telling the story visually, and have basic photo editing skills to seamlessly incorporate the right images — whether online or in print.

This is a full-time position requiring full-time dedication to our various ventures. You should be comfortable giving up any outside freelance work to focus on this role exclusively.

LOCATION

This is a fully remote position. That said, the work is deeply rooted in a specific place. The ideal candidate lives within about 15 minutes of Buckhead and can be on the ground when a story, an event, or a source meeting requires it. Current or longtime Buckhead residents are strongly preferred — there's no substitute for knowing a community from the inside.
