Hirschler, a dynamic and multispecialty mid-sized law firm, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead firmwide recruiting, onboarding, and integration efforts across all levels—attorneys and professional staff. This onsite, full-time position is a high-impact role that works closely with firm leadership, including the Director of Human Resources, Section Chairs, and the President, to design and execute innovative strategies that attract and retain top legal talent aligned with Hirschler’s strategic goals and culture.
About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Manager will serve as a strategic partner in advancing Hirschler’s reputation as an employer of choice. This position oversees all aspects of talent acquisition—from sourcing and recruiting to onboarding and retention strategies. The role also coordinates the firm’s summer associate program and collaborates across sections and departments to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies; manage applicant tracking; screen candidates; coordinate interviews; prepare offers; and ensure compliance with employment laws and firm policies.
- Partner with Marketing to promote Hirschler’s brand through job postings, social media, law school outreach, and events.
- Facilitate pre-employment checks, new hire documentation, and onboarding processes.
- Partner with leadership to create retention and integration tools.
- Coordinate the summer associate program by planning, recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating the participants in partnership with the Recruiting Committee.
- Track recruiting metrics, analyze trends, and provide insights to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Work with firm leadership, Section Chairs, and administrative directors to align hiring with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of hiring best practices, employment law, and recruitment compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS/applicant tracking systems – LawCruit/Litera and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
