What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Specialist position at Hirons?
We are seeking a digital marketing specialist with 2-3 years of experience to support our growing digital department. This roll will focus on supporting all work within our digital department which could include content development for websites, email marketing and social media, SEO keyword research, pulling data analytics reports and research to support digital marketing campaigns.
This position will report to the director, digital strategy.
Responsibilities
- Search engine optimization support: Assist with SEO activities such as keyword research, on-page updates and coordinating implementation with internal teams.
- Digital content support: Help draft, edit and organize content for websites, email marketing and social media. Provide support during content reviews and assist with implementing content into platforms.
- Email marketing support: Help build and schedule email campaigns and assist in pulling performance metrics.
- Social media support: Assist with writing and scheduling organic social media content.
- Collaboration and team support: Work closely with media, creative and account teams to support digital initiatives.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or industry
- Experience writing content and supporting digital marketing campaigns
- Understanding social media and email platforms
- Knowledge of website best practices
- Experience with SEO, including keyword research is a plus
- Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress) is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to complete projects within budget and schedule requirements
- Desire to stay up to date with all current digital technologies, trends and developments
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once within a fast-paced environment
