About Hiro 88
Hiro 88 is a polished-casual Asian restaurant featuring an extensive wine list, a craft cocktail program, and a menu of fresh sushi and Chinese dishes inspired by our family’s recipes.
We pride ourselves on providing guests with a welcoming, high-quality dining experience. As a Server or Bartender, you play a key role in creating memorable moments through consistency, hospitality, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Deliver genuine hospitality and guide guests through our menu with strong food and beverage knowledge
- Create positive first impressions and build guest loyalty
- Provide timely, attentive, and friendly service to ensure guests feel valued and well cared for
- Maintain complete knowledge of Hiro 88’s food and beverage offerings
- Enter orders accurately using iPads and handle all payments properly
- Interact positively with coworkers and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Verify guest IDs for alcohol service and follow all responsible service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
- Report to work in a clean uniform with a professional appearance
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including:
- One Friday or Saturday
- Every Sunday
- One additional weekday shift
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Valid state or city alcohol compliance card (where applicable)
Preferred:
- 2 years of previous serving experience
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced restaurant setting
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Frequent handwashing required
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
