Description:
We are seeking for one of our clients an experienced Middleware Integration Developer with strong expertise in MuleSoft and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / App Connect Enterprise (ACE) to design, build, and maintain enterprise integration solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for bridging cloud and on-premises systems, enabling API-led connectivity, modernizing legacy integrations, and ensuring reliable, secure data flows across the enterprise.
This position plays a key role in large-scale digital transformation and migration initiatives within a high-demand integration environment.
Role and Responsibilities
API Design & Development
- Design, develop, and deploy RESTful and SOAP APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and IBM IIB/ACE
- Implement API-led connectivity patterns and reusable integration assets
- Define API specifications using RAML / Swagger (OpenAPI)
System Integration
- Integrate cloud-based applications with on-premise systems and databases
- Build scalable and secure integration solutions to support business workflows
- Work with message-oriented middleware and enterprise service buses
Data Transformation & Mapping
- Develop data transformations using DataWeave (MuleSoft) and ESQL (IIB/ACE)
- Handle multiple data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files
Message Processing
- Design and implement message flows using IBM MQ
- Ensure reliable, asynchronous communication and error handling
Production Support & Maintenance
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues in production environments
- Enhance and optimize existing integrations for performance and stability
- Support SLAs and operational excellence
Migration & Modernization
- Participate in modernization initiatives, including migration from IIB to MuleSoft or IBM ACE
- Refactor legacy ESB integrations into cloud-native and microservices-based architectures
Required Qualifications
· 3–5 years of hands-on experience in middleware or integration development
· Strong experience with MuleSoft and/or IBM IIB/ACE
· Solid understanding of ESB concepts, message queuing, and integration patterns
· Experience working with APIs, data transformations, and middleware security
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Technology Stack

Pay: $108,910.20 - $131,160.67 per year
