You will handle patient intake, take patients vitals, Ekg, Loop monitors, go over medications and assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks specializing in cardiology. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting efficient clinic operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Duties Include:
- Obtain and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation using EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, Coumadin pokes, Medication refills
- Support patient care by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols including Basic Life Support (BLS), emergency procedures, and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Scheduling patients
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology,
- Proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support tools
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering outstanding patient service in an office setting.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced environments
- Drug screening is a requirement if hired
