We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with HealthRules Payor (HRP) experience to join our healthcare technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, healthcare payer systems, and HealthRules Payor configuration, customization, and integration. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining healthcare payer applications while ensuring compliance with industry standards and business requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong experience with HealthEdge HealthRules Payor (HRP) platform.
Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices.
Experience with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, including:
- Claims Processing
- Benefits Configuration
- Provider Management
- Member Enrollment
- Authorization & Utilization Management
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting HealthRules Payor.
Configure and customize HRP modules based on business requirements.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for system integrations.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
Support production deployments and troubleshoot application issues.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HealthEdge ecosystem products.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
Healthcare payer domain certifications are a plus.
