Job Title: AWS GLUE Developer
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS GLUE Developer. This role requires translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, Fusion Data Intelligence, and related Oracle tools. The ideal candidate ensures data accuracy, optimizes report performance, and enables seamless integration with enterprise systems to support data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience:
3 years of hands-on AWS Glue development (must-have).
Strong experience with Python scripting for Glue ETL jobs.
Deep understanding of Glue components:
Glue Jobs
Glue Studio
Glue Catalog
Glue Crawlers
Glue Workflows
Solid experience in Data Integration, including building automated data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using AWS Glue and related AWS services.
Experience working with AWS services integrated directly with Glue:
S3
CloudWatch
IAM
Athena
Redshift (optional)
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
Ability to optimize Glue ETL performance (partitioning, parallelism, Spark configuration tuning).
Salary : $75 - $90
