What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Engineer (HP Aruba) position at Hireteq Solutions Inc.?
Duration: 6-12 months contract to hire
Note:
HP Aruba is a MUST
EXTREME experience is a PLUS but not mandatory.
This will be a minimum of 6 months contract, with the possibility of becoming full-time. Could possibly do a hybrid, but if the position was to go full-time, the person would be expected to be on site.
Experience:
• 5 years of experience in a related role with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level (Data Center/Campus) network infrastructure required.
• General Experience managing and completing IT-related projects in a mid-to-large-scale network environment required.
• General Experience and proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, IEEE 802.1x, SD-WAN, multicast, Wi-Fi protocols Required
• General Experience and proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• General Experience with the ability to troubleshoot and support a wide range of infrastructure technologies, including Aruba & Extreme Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls, Extreme
and Aruba Wireless, Infoblox DNS, Mitel Phone System.
• General Experience and strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
• General Experience with strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
