About the Role
Client is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support a portfolio of capital projects (up to ~$15M). This role is built for someone who lives and breathes schedules—not just updating timelines, but owning them.
You’ll serve as the Scheduling Subject Matter Expert (SME), working closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, actionable, and reliable project schedules using Primavera P6.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules in Primavera P6
- Build new schedules and manage updates across multiple projects
- Participate in project meetings and incorporate real-time updates
- Analyze schedule performance and identify risks or delays
- Review and validate QA/QC scheduling reports
- Communicate schedule changes, impacts, and critical milestones to stakeholders
- Serve as the go-to expert for all scheduling-related questions
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Primavera P6
- Proven experience supporting capital project scheduling
- Strong understanding of scheduling concepts (critical path, float, dependencies)
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills; comfortable leading discussions with large groups
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Utility or energy industry experience
- Construction project scheduling background
- Experience with Business Objects or reporting tools
