Position Overview
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with at least 1 year of experience to provide respiratory care for primarily adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases in the Emergency Department. Travelers will float across hospital units as needed.
Patient Population

- Limited Pediatric cases (ED)
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- CRT or RRT
- COVID-19 Vaccination Required
Key Responsibilities / Skills
- Ventilator management
- CPAP / BiPAP therapy
- Nebulizer treatments
- A-line placement
- Intubation assistance
- Vent weaning & extubation
- ABG collection and analysis
Equipment Used
- AVEA Vents
- Servo-U Vents
- LPU 1200 Vents
- Parapack Vents (MRI)
- Hamilton Vents (Transport)
Systems & Technology
- EPIC (Charting)
- Pyxis
Schedule & Expectations
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- Floating required across units
- Block scheduling not available
- Maximum 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts per fatigue policy
- Up to 7 days of time off may be approved
Orientation
- Minimum 1 shift orientation to learn department workflow
