Role Summary
The Associate Scientist II will focus on polymer materials characterization and support medical device development projects. This role requires hands-on laboratory experience using analytical techniques such as DSC, TGA, FTIR, and SEM, along with strong documentation and reporting skills in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform material characterization using DSC, TGA, and FTIR
• Support project teams by defining and executing test plans
• Conduct laboratory testing and data analysis
• Document experimental work in electronic lab notebook systems (GMP)
• Prepare technical summaries and reports
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience in materials characterization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced lab environment and manage multiple tasks
⭐ Preferred: Polymer characterization experience and familiarity with Trios, Omnic, or LabVantage ELN.
