Electrical Drafter/Designer / Hybrid

What this really comes down to
You’ll take sketches, notes, and layouts from engineers and turn them into detailed electrical CAD models. You’ll help refine designs, make sure everything matches standards, and keep the documentation trail accurate as parts move toward production.
What you’ll be doing
- Update and modify electrical CAD drawings to support quality and productivity improvements.
- Create or revise part numbers and BOMs in Windchill.
- Prepare parts and documents for release and make sure all reviews and system steps are completed.
- Push changes through Windchill, SAP, and manufacturing workflows.
- Work closely with engineers, flag issues early, and keep projects on track.
- Check drawings for accuracy and consistency with standards.
- Support file management tasks when needed.
What helps you stand out
- Experience with Windchill for part and document creation or release.
- SAP experience for part and document management.
- Knowledge of electrical CAD tools like Xpedition, Altium, Cadence, or Zuken.
- Familiarity with engineering change processes and how they play out in manufacturing.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Clear written communication for documentation and reports.
Background they prefer
- Technical school experience is a plus.
- At least one year working in a related drafting or design environment.
