A 20 year old Commercial Audio Visual Integrator is seeking an experienced Commercial Audiovisual Design Engineer for Pre and Post-Sales Design work. Role Overview:
The AV Lead Commissioning Engineer will collaborate with clients, sales, and technical teams to design, commission, and support audiovisual systems for federal and DoD projects. Responsibilities include creating detailed system designs, producing Bill of Materials (BOM), conducting site surveys, and ensuring systems meet performance standards. The role also involves assisting with control system programming and providing training to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and commission AV systems tailored to client needs.
- Develop and maintain detailed BOMs and system documentation.
- Conduct site surveys and collaborate with project teams.
- Assist in control system programming and integration.
- Provide training and support to clients and end-users.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV system design and commissioning.
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Visio, and Bluebeam.
- Experience with AV control systems such as Crestron, QSC, Biamp, or BSS.
- Strong understanding of networking systems and AV protocols.
- CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification and valid driver's license required.
