- We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse
- Location:- Arcata, CA 95518
- Contract Duration:- 6 weeks with Possible extension
- Shift:- 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Pay range:- $64.55 to $67.55/hr.
Required Qualifications:-
- Experience with Wound care nurse
- Active CA license, BLS and ACLS required
- Must have RN License in CA State
- DL Copy and Covid Vaccination
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients’ wounds, including chronic, acute, surgical, and traumatic wounds.
- Develop individualized wound care plans based on patient needs and current best practices.
- Administer advanced wound care treatments such as dressings, debridement, and negative pressure therapy.
- Educate patients and their families on wound management, including proper dressing techniques and infection prevention.
- Monitor healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with emerging wound care technologies and evidence-based practices through ongoing professional development.
