The candidate should be an adept communicator, skilled at providing transparency in the process to clients and all stakeholders, while fostering a collaborative process with the architecture, interior design, and consultant teams.
JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Superintendent is an on-site field representative role that coordinates activities related to field operations as directed by the Division Leader and office operations. The Lead Superintendent will oversee all assigned projects from the final pricing and permitting phase through to project completion and subsequent project close-out functions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating and scheduling all on-site development and construction activity, supervising workers, subcontractors, vendors, and the delivery of materials and equipment. They manage quality assurance and control processes, contract requirements, plans management, and field documentation. They will ensure scheduling compliance and updates, coordinate all required inspections, maintain client contact, and manage compliance with on-site field safety requirements for vendors, employees, and the general public. The Lead Superintendent will ensure that plans and specifications are adhered to and that work proceeds in compliance with the quality of construction standards of the company, while delivering on schedule and budget requirements.
