Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst for Game Sales partners closely with the Global Gaming commercial organization, contributing financial insights that support profitable growth and data-driven decision making across a global game sales portfolio. This role is involved in financial planning and forecasting, commercial deal analysis, performance reporting, and dashboard analytics covering game and cabinet sales revenue, margins, and key performance indicators. The ideal candidate is analytically sharp, commercially curious, and equally comfortable building a complex financial model and communicating the story behind it to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a financial partner to Global Game Sales leadership, contributing analytical insights that inform pricing decisions, portfolio strategy, and market prioritization
- Analyze deal structures, customer proposals, and promotional programs to evaluate profitability and alignment with corporate goals
- Contribute financial modeling and scenario analysis to support go-to-market strategies for new game launches and cabinet performance optimization
- Prepare monthly reporting packages covering revenue performance, unit sales, average selling price trends, product mix, and variance analysis
- Analyze game and cabinet performance data to identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue and improve yield across the install base
- Build and maintain financial models supporting scenario planning, ROI analysis, NPV and IRR modeling, and strategic decision making for commercial initiatives
- Support standardization and automation of reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics using Power BI, Power Query, and related tools to improve visibility and reduce manual effort
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5 years of progressive finance or FP&A experience, preferably in gaming, manufacturing, or technology
- Strong financial modeling skills including driver-based forecasting, revenue and margin modeling, scenario analysis, and deal profitability evaluation
- Strong command of Excel including Power Query, pivot tables, index/match/xlookup, and array formulas
- Proficiency in Power BI including DAX for data modeling and dashboard development
- Ability to query and validate data across large datasets, with SQL or Snowflake experience a strong differentiator
- Experience supporting commercial or sales organizations with pipeline forecasting, deal modeling, and gross margin analysis
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences
- MBA, CPA, or related advanced degree or certification preferred
- Knowledge of gaming industry sales cycles, product economics, and recurring revenue models a plus
- Python or R experience for advanced analysis is optional but differentiating
