Overview
We are looking for a QA Manual Tester with extensive experience in manual testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring product quality.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Design, document, and execute test cases for product releases.
- Develop and execute test plans and cases in Jira.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to align on requirements and testing.
- Track defects and ensure thorough documentation of test results.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure stability of the application.
- Independently determine and design testing approaches that support comprehensive testing of difficult solutions; mentor and cross-train others on testing.
Qualifications
- 3 years of manual testing experience.
- Solid knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML and SOAP/API testing with Postman as well as Java.
- Experience with functional testing of multi-tier Web applications.
- Experience working with issues tracking tools, test cases design and execution. Preferably JIRA.
