Our client is a global engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction company specializing in critical infrastructure across the energy, water, telecommunications, and government sectors.
Description:
- Lead and support substation projects up to 765kV, including both physical and protection & controls design.
- Develop drawings, schematics, layouts, relay panel wiring, grounding, and auxiliary power systems.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of design packages, mentor junior engineers, and oversee project deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project teams to ensure technical excellence.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and specifications for procurement and construction.
- Support business development opportunities and present proposals/designs to clients.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in HV (69 kV and higher) substation design (physical and/or P&C) for a power utility in the USA.
- Project lead or technical specialist background.
- Strong QA/QC and client coordination experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
