Our client is seeking to add a Senior Transportation Structural Project Engineer to their team.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Design of new and rehabilitation bridge projectsAbility to meet project schedules and maintain quality standardsMaintain project scopes and budgetsPreparation of contract bid documents and managing construction phase servicesCoordination with sub consultantsLeading design engineers and drafting personnelConverse with clients and establish relationships.Required Skills:Ability to manage the structural design of engineering and construction projects of varying levels of complexity, and scopeKnowledge of structural design principles for steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete for structure componentsAbility to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environmentExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsRequired Experience:12-20 years of relevant experience in structural design.Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland.Experience with AASHTO LRFD bridge design.Experience working with Maryland Department of Transportation.Preferred ExperienceMS in Civil Engineering6 years of experience leading design engineers and drafting personnel.Working ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment most of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.& MUST HAVE:12-20 years of relevant experience in structural design& Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of MarylandExperience with AASHTO LRFD bridge designExperience working with Maryland Department of TransportationKnowledge of structural design principles for steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete for structure components.
Salary : $95,700 - $130,000
